A surprise package arrived yesterday from good friend, Cindy Hickok, who had just returned from Paris. She returned with several French magazine that had listed information about the Pfaff Embroidery Challenge. The 2009 challenge theme was, Landscape: Let Us Travel. Her embroidered car was used in posters and my artwork, Traveling From Dawn to Dusk, was used to represent the exhibit in many magazines. Above are a few of the magazines she sent me. Jacqueline Govin, the organizer of these Pfaff competitions had been saving the magazines to send to me and Cindy offered to bring them.
