It seems that I may have to change the name of my blog from Small Art Work to Varied Artwork. For a change of pace I am working in white Tyvek. This is the softer of the many Tyvek types, not as stiff at the post office envelopes nor as heavy as the construction type but the sewable type. I started by making a jacket which I will paint and use as a rain jacket. Now I am constucting 3 large panels, so far all white, but may add paint. In these three large panels I am experimenting with as much in the way of texture as I can develop, kind of like fabric manipulation but using all kinds of cut elements to create a texture.
The first of the three panels is below and is approximately 52 inches high by 27 inches wide.
The next two panels will be a similar size.
