Plot Twists is small, 16 by 18 inches and was sold several years ago.

To begin this abstract landscape I painted a canvas, then with my industrial sewing machine I embroidered the painting in lines instead of solid areas. This was trimmed and then applied to a larger canvas with the same painting to act as a border. To applique the smaller embroidery to the background, I used the same color of thread and extended those lines from the smaller work to the border.
