We are off to San Diego for the opening reception of the Art of the Stitch at the Visions Art Museum. There will be 12 artists in the Art of the Stitch exhibit. They include:
Gwenn Beope, Karin Birch, Susan Brandeis, Caroline M. Dahl, Jane Kenyon, Sarah Rockinger, Carol Shinn, Jill Spurgin, Melanie Testa, Robb Watt, Deborah Weir, Joan Wolfer, Rita Zerull, and B. J. Adams.

I will have the three art works you see below exhibited until January 23, 2011.

From San Diego we will drive up the coast to L. A. and visit our son's family in Torrance. There I will enjoy walking to and on the beach as well as visiting family in Palos Verdes. Our son, Clark, will drive us to his Palm Springs home where we can enjoy the beautiful desert weather. Also we will enjoy his cactus garden and a lot of fresh orange juice and I always have to have a date shake.
