From drawing to embroidery

The blog before the last one (see below) showed my drawing, in colored pencil, of eggplants and yellow squash. Part of an ever ongoing complementary series, this time using purple and yellow, I embroidered the drawing in thread on my sewing machine. It has temporarily been appliqued to a pastel marbled cotton.

Undecided if the composition will be complete as above I have embroidered these flowers as possible additions. They are smaller than shown here. These may be added to the lower right side to balance the grouping. So goes the thinking and wondering and cogitating while working on another embroidery. I always seem to have several ideas brewing at the same time.
