A very nice article, written by Pippa Eccles, appeared in the August/September issue of Quilting Arts Magazine about my work. I received it in the mail today. Among the photos this artwork appeared. It is titled A Personal Paradox and is 18 by 23 inches. The free-motion embroidered hand image was created from a drawing, I sketched several years ago, of Andrea Uravitch's hand. Each of the images shown were created separately on a dissolvable stabilizer and then appliqued to the background. The painting drawing/embroidery shown as the main focus contains paper and has both machine and had embroidery.
